So You Think You Can Be a Real Estate?

Real estate is a very challenging occupation, but is also extremely enjoyable, because the social requirements, and the social skills needed for the job. Also priorities must be set, in order to meet clients wants and needs. The clients need to be satisfied in order for the job to be finished to its completion. “To be successful in real estate, you must always and consistently put your clients’ best interests first. When you do your personal needs will be realized beyond your greatest expectations” (Anthony Hitt) Satisfaction plays a huge role in being an agent, and many things are learned during the first few years of being an agent. There is a demand for real estates in today’s society, and it takes more skill and knowledge than people think to become one. Many hours of stress, sleep deprivation, and hard work are put into this job. Although the job allows a great deal of leisure, the standards of the job are high, and have to be met on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. There are multiple benefits of being a real estate, as well as many different reasons why this occupation should be considered, and what it takes to become an agent.
The benefits of being a real estate are continuous, and grow as your business grows through the years. Benefits range from financially and socially to physically and strengthening certain skills in life. According to Stark, the ability to remember certain things, and arithmetic techniques will be strengthened as a real estate, although there is many more concepts to grasp. Improvement of basic skills and more elaborate skills is always convenient in life, and helps immensely when learning the basics of real estate agency. The financial aspect also has a great advantage due to the independent nature the occupation allows. For example, “You have control over your own hours and the freedom of time and movement. You’re not chained to a desk all day and there’s no time card to punch. It can be very liberating.”(Brants) Another professional stated the similar fact, agents don’t have a set work day. The schedule is made up on a daily basis and is spent different every day. (Kaplan Real Estate Education) Because of the control of time, and hours put in determines income, the hard work put in will pay off in the salary. Agents also have to keep in mind that earnings aren’t set for you. Earnings are based on hours and days spent working. (Kaplan Real Estate Education) In addition, real estates are highly honored in the business world, because of their rank in society and the business world. According to Continuing Ed Express, “You are in a respected profession, and compared to other businesses and professions, real estate agent and brokers rank high in public approval polls.” Because of this reason, even if someone becomes a real estate fresh out of college, the young twenty year old will still be respected for the occupation they chose to pursue. Even though the rookie hasn’t sold tons of houses and isn’t well known yet, because they are an real estate agent other occupations will have a high opinion of them. Being an agent also has its physical benefits, daily workouts is a routine for real estates. “If you’re doing your job, real estate will keep you in shape.” Stark stated. The real estate business certainly isn’t easy to be in, with rough changes, and challenges along the way, the job does get easier. Along with the job getting easier through the years, the job also comes with multiple benefits, that makes this job a serious consideration.
Real estate is a high ranked job, and should be considered as a long term occupation for multiple reasons, not just because the wide range of benefits. The requirements vary in different areas and are abundant in advantages., “As an investor, your job isn’t to make a little bit of cash on the side. Your job is to find and secure the best deals [for your clients]”(Pant) There are certain priorities that have to be met as a realtor and clients/customers are always first. If communicating with others and compromising on a daily basis is a strong skill, real estate should definitely be a consideration.“Working in real estate requires hard work and dedication, but the rewards are plenty. Real estate offers excellent income potential, flexible work hours, and freedom to set your own pace.” States George Mason University. This source explains how the the hard work, and dedication put into the job will pay off in many different ways, including financially as well as in other aspects This source also contains more benefits of the occupation, and the more benefits the job has, the more reasons real estate should be a consideration for a long term career. According to Continuing Ed Express, “There are a few things as satisfying as helping buyers find a new home or investment property, or helping sellers sell their property.” Just doing the job itself and its entirety is a great feeling to have every week or even every day if the week is busy. The clients are happy, and the satisfaction of doing the job right is overwhelming at times because good deals are made, and major houses are sold. Real estate should be considered for the benefits it provides, and also because the hard work put in always pays off in the end.
Choosing real estate as a profession is extremely beneficial, and should be a serious consideration for a career. Numerous advantages of the job, and reflection of why the job is a good fit have many expert opinions. The benefits are just a plus that comes with being a real estate but the considerations determine how well of a fit the job really is.

Expository Essay- Cell Phone Effects

Everyone has waited on “that” phone call or text, and it is clear to see that cell phones have greatly affected our lives. Cell phones are a must have for most teenagers, and some adults, they have affected our lives in many ways such as, faster communication, and easier research.

Job promotion? Aced your test? Got engaged? Many people deliver this type of news over the phone. Having a baby is big news, so the new mother immediately starts a group text to tell all of her closest friends, and cell phones give us the advantage to deliver news fast, and easy. Abby moved from Texas to Florida when she was in the seventh grade, but she still keeps in touch with all of her closest friends in Texas, thanks to cell phones. Whether someone is a few houses away, or a few states away, cell phones allow us to communicate with others no matter how far. Faster communication is very convenient, and delivering big news or talking to a friend hours away, is the advantage cell phones give the world.

Furthermore, cell phones also allow faster, and easier research. Zach has a big project coming up over World War 2 and needs facts, and stats fast, so he grabs his cell phone and googles the war, and finds everything he needs within a minute. Cell phones now have many apps, and allow easy access to the internet. For example, a girl’s friend told her that you have to be at least sixteen to try out for the Olympics, but she didn’t believe this. Later, she found the Olympic website on her phone, found all the registration information, and sure enough, you have to be at least sixteen to try out. Finding information fast, easy, and quick, is beneficial and helps with many different situations

Therefore, weather it’s waiting on a phone call, delivering big news, or needing to know information fast, cell phones and their effects have changed lives.

Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde Movie Review

Negatives:

-The movie doesn’t follow the book, but does have some similarities. For example, the book never tells about Jekyll testing his experiments on animals but in the movie it shows him testing animals and even killing them because of his mixtures.

-The movie adds in new characters that weren’t in the book, and makes it a little confusing because you have to learn the new characters, and how they are related or connected to Jekyll or if they are even related/connected at all.

-The movie doesn’t clarify background characters very well. For example, Utterson wasn’t clearly identified and Lanyon wasn’t identified until the end of the movie.

-Jekyll in the movie isn’t as secretive so the mystery in the book isn’t really in the movie. In the book Jekyll is very secretive, sneaking around, locking himself in his cabinet, etc. but in the movie he is more open with his thought and the way he views evil and good.

-The movie seems to focus a lot on the romance aspect and not so much the mystery aspect. In the book there was no romance at all because Beatrice wasn’t even a character an Ivy wasn’t either but Ivy was one of the main actresses in the movie.

Positives:

-There is more action and suspense created in the movie because Jekyll is so open with his opinions and not so secretive when he is Hyde.

-The movie is easy to follow, it doesn’t have flashbacks or random scenes, it flows very well and makes sense.

-The added scenes that aren’t in the book have meaning and make sense, which gives the book suspense and action.

-Ivy is like all of Hyde’s crimes combined in the book in one girl. He tortures her and ruins her life and eventually kills her but the movie doesn’t show Hyde going around and murdering people.

Overall:

The movie was enjoyable, and although it doesn’t follow the book, and is in old fashioned black and white I do recommend watching it.

Dandelion Wine Essay

Grandparents have experienced many different situations, and have made good decisions as well as bad. Whether someone has their grandparents around or not, they know what it’s like to learn from others past. The benefits of the elderly and youth working together is youth can learn, and the elderly can live.

The elderly know what it’s like, to make the wrong decision in the heat of the moment, and can share those mistakes with the youth so that they don’t repeat the mishap. For example, if an elderly woman chose to quit the volleyball team because she didn’t make varsity her freshman year, she could share with young teenage girls that it’s not about what team you’re on. Going out on the court to play your best and get better everyday is the important thing. Learning from mistakes is a good way for the youth to learn, and the elderly have many stories to learn from. Most elderly also have regrets such as, only going to Texas A&M because that’s where all their buds were going then soon flunking out of college for making wrong decisions with their “buds”. Having regrets is something someone would have to live with their whole life, so the elderly sharing their regrets with the youth may help the youth learn what to do while they’re young. Therefore, the elderly can help the youth learn by sharing mistakes and regrets.

Most of the elderly don’t get out the house much or live in a nursing home, so the youth could help keep them up to date on today’s society. For example, an elderly man may have just gotten a new iPhone but isn’t sure how to operate it so his fifteen year old grandson comes over to teach the older man. Many new, and exciting events happen everyday but the elderly might not know about them unless a teenager delivers the news to them. The exciting events could be a good reason for the youth to tell the elderly not to give into the raging fire of death. In Dylan Thomas’ poem “Do not go gentle into that good night” Thomas states, “Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they “Do not go gentle into that good night.” Thomas delivers the message that choosing your words carefully is important and you shouldn’t resign or give into death, fight til the end. The youth delivering the news of today’s society could help the elderly realize what the elderly would leave behind if they gave up. The elderly need to live, and with the help of the youth it makes it easier.

Everyone has made a good or bad decision and learned from it, but learning from someone else’s past can help too. Whether it’s a teenager deciding if they should stay on JV or an elderly woman wondering what she’d leave behind in this world, sharing pasts and current events are important.

Comparative Poem

You might think I’m just

a fifteen year old girl

with blonde hair

and blue eyes

But I know I am more than that

not a couch or a bear

not a blanket or lamp

A puppy

a messy puppy

When I become lazy

not wanting to clean my reckless room

I am a puppy

dirty

careless

chaotic

But when I become energetic

my loving side shows

My hype excites everyone

I become an energetic playful puppy

I’m constantly on the run

until night time comes and the day ends

The blonde- haired, blue- eyed girl

is a puppy

a messy, hyper, loving puppy

Comparative Career Choice Essay

Comparative career choice essay

Even though I am only in the ninth grade, I already have an idea about what I want my career to be. I researched three careers that appeal to me, real estate, accountant, and a nurse.

Unlike the sociable real estate, accountant is a desk job, and doesn’t involve much interaction with coworkers or customers. The salary is 65,550 per year which is favorable, and I possess most of the abilities of being an accountant. I am attentive, good at math, and I have great communication skills. Altogether this job appears to involve hard work and long hours that cause stress, which I’m not too fond about.

Similar to an accountant, a nurse’s income is 65,470 per year. I am very observant, and excellent at comforting others, which are some abilities needed in the nursing field. In addition, caring for others and putting their needs before mine is something I love doing. Overall, nursing would be a good fit for me because the skills needed, I possess, but the long hours, and stress isn’t for me, because I don’t deal with stress and being under pressure well.

Research revealed to me that being a real estate would help me express my sociable abilities. I would love doing my job everyday if I was a real estate agent.

If I became a real estate I would make my own schedule, when I meet with clients, when I go into the office, and other tasks. I think I’m very persuasive, for example I’m very friendly, talkative, and I find the good in everything, which helps being a real estate, and I have great people skills. Ultimately, this job is the best for me personally due to the skills and work ethic needed.

Any of these three careers I could pursue because they all deal with people in some form. Still, the career I would enjoy most would be the social, hard working real estate. I personally think that it is great for me to already have an idea of careers to consider even as a freshman in high school.
